As part of this year's ECIS conference, the AIS Doctoral Student College is hosting a series of events designed especially for doctoral students attending ECIS 2023. All the Doctoral Student Corner events will be held in person at the conference site in Kristiansand, Norway.
The AIS Doctoral Student College is committed to creating opportunities and providing support to all doctoral students, and we continue this effort at ECIS 2023 with a series of events designed to facilitate networking with senior scholars and peers, highlight your research, and enhance your conference experience. We look forward to connecting with participants from around the world with our offerings!
We invite doctoral students of all levels to join our free events at ECIS 2023. Several Amazon gift cards will be given away at our events!
This event will be our official welcome reception for the Doctoral Student Corner. During this hour, students will have the chance to meet and interact with each other in-person. Our scavenger hunt also opens at the Welcome Reception.
The AIS Doctoral Student College is proud to collaborate with six distinguished senior faculty members from various regions to provide doctoral students with invaluable insights and guidance on the topic: "Co-creating Academic Futures: How to contribute and collaborate in the IS community as a PhD student?" The event will include an interactive Q&A session, allowing you to interact with our esteemed faculty members and seek answers to your most pressing questions. We look forward to your presence at this event as we explore ways to shape and support academic futures in the IS community!

This will be our closing event for the Doctoral Student Corner. We will also give away prizes for the scavenger hunt participants.
During the main conference days, doctoral students can participate in our exciting scavenger hunt, where you can win prizes! The scavenger hunt is announced at the Welcome Reception and closed during the Hangout & Conclusion event.
