In this workshop, we anticipate researchers working in IS, digital transformations, sustainability, and digital technologies to come together to address sustainable and circular economy issues in IS. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together and develop the community of IS researchers working on the use of digital technologies for the Circular Economy.

The outcome of the workshop expected will be:

  • To bring together researchers working on the use of digital technology for the Circular Economy
  • Provide an opportunity for researchers to share the advancement and knowledge, and get feedback on their ongoing work
  • Support interdisciplinary research which is required for an effective transition to Circularity

The workshop will be over a full day. In the first half of the day, we would start with a keynote speech (TBC) followed by short presentations from different researchers. This will be followed by group discussion and potential collaboration on how Digital technologies could be used for the Circular Economy. Please note, only selected presentations could be presented online however, we would prefer face to face presentations.

Interested researchers should submit an extended abstract (500 words) by 3rd April 2023 to Jyoti Mishra (j.l.mishra@leeds.ac.uk). Articles will go through a double-blind review.
